Katie Moseley graduated from Big Sandy High School as Valedictorian of her Senior Class in 2006. Katie was an outdoor enthusiast who loved playing softball & golf, riding horses, and most of all waterskiing & wakeboarding. In the fall, she began her Freshman year at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she quickly became known for her personality and the smile on her face.
On October 29, 2006 Katie Moseley was hit head on and died in a two vehicle accident on State Highway 164 five miles north of Buffalo, Texas. She was in route back to Baylor University from spending the weekend with her family and friends.
To everyone who knew Katie, they said she was a delight to be around and brought tremendous joy to other people. Katie loved life and her happiness impacted everyone she was around!
Katie will be greatly missed. Many thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Katie Annette Moseley, the 18 year old daughter of Danny and Frances Moseley of Livingston, Texas.
Special Thanks go out to everyone who participated to make the Flag Pole Memorial a reality at the Big Sandy High School in Big Sandy Texas. The Flag Pole Memorial is dedicated to Katie Annette Moseley and the Katie Moseley Scholarship Fund.
